David D. Manevitz, D.O., M.P.H., M.S. is a physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the New York Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Manevitz treats a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, including, but not limited to, neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee and ankle pain. His approach to treatment is one that looks at the whole person and not just their symptoms. Dr. Manevitz believes in an integrated approach to patient care. He performs a complete history and physical examination with each patient, and will order diagnostic tests when necessary to devise the best treatment plan. He will prescribe medication and perform joint or trigger point injections, if indicated, to alleviate your pain. Dr. Manevitz will also oversee that a proper physical therapy program is in place for each of his patients. He works closely with other licensed professionals at Advanced Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation to ensure that his patients receive the best possible care.
